Development Manager/Country Head - Spain

Work in partnership with Connected Energy’s UK head office to:

• Originate utility-scale greenfield and co-development BESS sites  
• Manage the development of those sites to ready-to-build 
• Oversee negotiation and signing of key contracts (leases, wayleaves, grid connection agreements, co-development, permit consulting) 
• Develop and manage a network of contractors to support the delivery of the projects (this will include lawyers for lease and wayleave documents, engineers for grid connection arrangements, and an appropriate group of consultants for permitting) 
• Create a standardised project development process for Spain 
• Develop and manage an in-country development team 
• Evaluate market drivers and opportunities (including co-location, auto-consumption and behind-the-meter connections and subsidies/incentives) to establish a countrywide development strategy 
• Report on strategy and progress to the CEO, COO and Board
