Webinar: Powering the charge ahead

How battery energy storage can support EV charging demands – a webinar by Connected Energy

We are entering a new phase for electric vehicle charging. With the growing uptake of fleet and passenger vehicles, increased battery range and the dawn of commercial trucks and buses – the power required for charging is increasing.

Grid limitations and the availability of grid upgrades often stand in the way of successful charge point deployment.  These constraints can mean it can be difficult to install EV charging in some locations without costly grid reinforcement, which can take several months, if not years, to materialise.

But there is another way. Battery energy storage could offer a solution to provide the additional power EV charging needs, providing additional capacity to manage times of peak demand or overcoming power constraints without grid upgrades.

The webinar takes place on Wednesday 1st May, 12.30pm – 1.30pm, and features Nigel Dent, Head of Sales at Connected Energy, and Steve Large, Technical Director, Hangar19.
